About me and my art

Catherine is a professional UK-based artist. She creates art  that emphasise softness, balance, and a sense of calm. Alongside her painted work, she also uses pastels and professional coloured pencils, to create detailed pet and animal portraits, where her sensitivity to character and expression comes through strongly.

Take a look at my art galleries

Over the years Catherine has carried out multiple workshops and demonstrations. In the gallery pages you can see some of her work that has be the subject of workshops and also demonstrations. Many of her workshops are quite challenging due to time restraints (normally 2 hrs), and this needs to be appreciated when viewing. Her pet and animal portraits take much longer. Time is needed to capture both likeness and character with sensitivity and care.
